A concert from two years ago, recorded by Radio France Musique featuring Orchestre National de France conducted by the legendary Sir Colin Davis and featuring Mezzo-soprano Sophie Koch in a program of music by Berlioz.

Here are the notes:

Opéra Comique : Hector Berlioz

Hector Berlioz

Sophie Koch, Mezzo-soprano*

Sabine Toutain, Alto**

Orchestre National de France

Sir Colin Davis, Direction

Concert donné le 5 novembre 2009

A little under 90 minutes, I broke the concert up between two players - the top player features the Waverley Overture and Les Nuits d'ete and the bottom player features Harold In Italy.

A wonderful concert, beautifully recorded by the Radio France engineers. Further evidence hearing music live works wonders.

Enjoy and remember it's Anti-Road Rage Wednesday . . .in case you needed reminding.
