I’ve been at the beach zipping thorough David Mitchell’s stellar novel Utopia Avenue, which chronicles the ups and downs of a band in late 60s London. Their journey brings them face to face with many of their real life musical counterparts and I was happy to see former Byrd Gene Clark make an appearance. Here’s a favorite of mine from his debut solo album. What you got tonight?
