Over to Amsterdam via Helsinki this week for a concert by the Finnish Radio Symphony, recorded live on October 11th at the Concertgebouw and broadcast over Finnish Radio. The orchestra is led by Sakari Oramo and features Baritone Christian Gerhaher and mezzo-Soprano Lilli Paasikivi in music of Liszt, Mahler and Sibelius.

Here's the rundown:

Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra – concert of October 10, 2011

Part 1 *Franz Liszt: Orpheus, Orpheus, symphonic poem No. 4
* Gustav Mahler: Songs from the collection Des Knaben Wunderhorn
Part 2 * Jean Sibelius: Symphony No. 5

* Sakari Oramo, conductor
* Christian Gerhaher, baritone
* Lilli Paasikivi, mezzosoprano

The concert runs a little over 90 minutes, so it's broken up between two players. The announcements are in Finnish, but that shouldn't bother you at all . . . .right? The music is spot-on Anti-Road Rage.

And it is Wednesday in case you hadn't noticed.

Turn it up and relax.
