Full Fathom Five - Iowa Shoegaze that came and went in a flash.

Good bands that deserved better than what they got. You could say that about Full Fathom Five, the post-Punk/Shoegaze outfit from Iowa fronted by Boston native Eric Melcher that came and went in a flash, left three albums by 1989 and called it a day - just like that.

But those three albums were quite good and the last one, Multinational Pop Conglomerate is where tonight's track comes from. Talking About Business is the 8th out of 16 well produced, thoroughly listenable, well executed tracks that make you ask the well-worn moth-ridden question "what was wrong?" Frankly, nothing. Chalk it up to the endless lines of bad timing, bad exposure/lack of exposure, crap luck.

It's what the business of music is all about.
