Nights at the Roundtable with The Very Most - from the sun drenched sands of Boise Idaho . . . .um, well . . .

The Very Most - sort of makes you want to coin a new phrase; Heartland Sunshine.

Since we started out an ode to Mid-west Alternative via Secret Cities last night, why not keep it going into the weekend with some Sunshine Pop from Boise Idaho? I know what you're thinking . . .Flyover Pop, Heartland Sunshine - contradictions of terms. Don't judge books by their covers, The Very Most are a pretty capable and well constructed little collective of musicians who happen to embrace the attributes of Sunshine Pop in the somewhat chilly climes of Boise and are getting a good word of mouth in the process.

Tonight's track comes from an ep they issued last year and is available via Eardrums Pop, a site you really need to check out since they offer a nice batch of up-and-comers and do it on a regular basis. It's something of a one-stop shop for Indie and Alternative music.

If Monday'd Never Come is the last track on the ep and if you didn't know for sure this band was from Idaho you would swear it came from a studio somewhere in the San Fernando Valley. It's nicely produced, well written and played and has that "not-looking-forward-to-the-end-of-the-weekend" feel to it.

Maybe I should say they came from Zuma Beach instead . . . just thinkin'.
