Hurricane Katrina hit landfall on the morning of August 29th. For a while the reports sounded as though New Orleans dodged a bullet. But as the minutes went by and the eye passed, the full weight of the storm started to slowly be revealed. The news clips start at six when the Hurricane hit land, and continue each hour into the evening as the story unfolded.
