Take heart. When you think the insanity, the attacks, the lunacy have gotten out of hand, there is always more. There always was. In 1944, at the height of the Presidential election, FDR observed a new low had been reached.
FDR: “These Republican leaders have not been content with attacks on me, or on my wife, or on my sons. No. Not content with that. They now include my little dog Fala.”
And so little Fala, the White House dog, was not immune to the brickbats, smears and innuendos.

Whatever move Obama makes, have exact opposite criticisms. No matter what, Obama is wrong.
The Olympic bid attempt is a perfect example. Had Obama not gone to Copenhagen and remained in the U.S. to "take care of more important domestic issues." while the other nations heads of state went to represent their Countries, Obama would have been slammed as "unpatriotic". If the President had succeeded in his effort to garner the games his "Chicago style politics" intimidated and twisted arms to win the nod. By going and not getting the games, Obama of course is a failure.
These bastards eventually will be left with zero credibility.

I've been sittin' and thinkin', and thinkin' and sittin' and I can't come up with one thing they been freakin' RIGHT about since 1960!!
They weren't right in the fifties (McCarthy), the forties (WWII and recovery), the thirties (Depression), the 20s (Hoover and the Crash), the 10s (WWI), maybe they might have had some credibility around Terry R. but I'm not sure.
I can't think of anything that they have been right about since 1860.
