(Would there have been psychedelia without this bunch? One wonders)
Ending up the week with one of the lesser known Beatles tracks. It's All Too Much was recorded in 1967, but it didn't actually make an appearance until the soundtrack album to Yellow Submarine came out in 1969. So truth of the matter is; it was recorded in 1967 at the dawn of the Psych period in music but didn't make a public appearance until the genre was on its way out of mainstream public favor. Like just about every song The Beatles ever recorded, there is a vast file cabinet of history and anecdotes and minutiae associated with it. Sometimes it gets in the way of enjoying a track just for what it is.
And for that reason, just crank it up and look for the weekend.
