(Telekrimen -getting back to basic mayhem and Mexican surf/psych/garage - cool, no?)

Since today was a holiday for a lot of people and tomorrow, being Tuesday, feels more like Monday, I thought it would be a good idea to get into a somewhat turbo-charged mood tonight. Telekrimen are fitting the bill. Telekrimen are one of those completely whacked-out Mexican surf/psych/garage bands that have resurfaced on the club scene South-of-the Border of late. Very raw, very crazy, very hyper - just the way we like it! And according to reports, they have a great following.

This is one of their new tracks, in fact a couple weeks old. Mutantes (I don't think you really need a translation, but Mutants nails it for English translation) is pretty typical of what they're doing.

Like I said, they're doing a lot of club gigs locally, but I don't know if they have plans to do anything across the border. It'd be nice if they did. We can use some crazy right about now.
