Only the extreme righty Bush-loving site would take a Friday Night Fun video and turn it into, well...mykeru takes a look at Johnson's post:

Lefty anti-Bush site

Redundant. As would be "Sane anti-Bush site".

Crooks and Liars has a film clip of Lou Dobbs introducing a story about the Plame-Rove inanity;

Inane meaning without substance? That must be why the White House is stonewalling. That lack of substance is making them crap their slacks.

shortly after his intro, a female voice (a producer?)

(usually producers are not hooked up to broadcast mics)

says on-mike:

Because if she said it "off mike (sic)" we wouldn't be having this discussion, dimwit.

"That's bullsh*t." (Hat tip: Former Lurker.)

For people who danced a jig over the violent death of Rachel Corrie, they sure are squeamish about bad language. But, you know, if wingnuts weren't inconsistent hypocrites, they would have no political ideology.

The commenters at Crooks and Liars all think this is great,

All? I must have missed the C&L "on message" commenting meeting. Besides, I thought the consensus was that it was amusing. "Great" being reserved for the actual Karl Rove frogmarch.

of course, because the real threat to America (in their alleged minds)

Which this douchebag is (allegedly) reading

isn't the ideology behind the London terrorist bombings

They get paid a penny for every oblique reference to "Islamofascism", the rich bastards.

—it's George W. Bush.

Which has exactly what to do with the compromising of a CIA operative for cheap political payback? Why, that's right, exactly nothing. If it wasn't the brainless f--s at LGF, I would feel cheated going all that way for a non sequitur. But since it's them, the predictability is comforting: You say to them "Hey, what are you doing molesting my dog?" and they reply "Ah hah, trying to distract from the War on Terror, aren't you?"

Also comment # 66 blutto 43: Well not all the commenters at that lunatic asylum hew to the 'party line', but they appear to have a very active editing function in place. If your comment does not support the agreed upon meme ---- out you go. A real memory hole in almost live time. Amazing.

blutto43, your lie proves the fact you simply have to make stuff up like Rove saying he wasn't involved with the Plame leak. What comment was pulled? Not one was pulled. Free Republic links to this site all the time ( they are linking to this post now ) and do I ban anybody? No. I've banned less than five people since this site has started. This is why I don't waste time with childish posts like Johnson's most of the time. Today I felt the need to respond.

(Update): Kevin Drum discussing a Weekly Standard article: "Now, it's true that Kos encourages a....how to put this?....passionate approach to politics. But as Barnett himself points out, the only reason you don't see the same thing on the right is that most conservative blogs are comment-free "virtual op-ed columns." The only big exception, Little Green Footballs, is not exactly famous as a source of calm and thoughtful discourse."
