The Montana Democratic Party lawyers have crafted their own letter to the TV Stations in order to rebuke the GOP's claims against their new ad against Sen. Conrad Burns. Here's their response:

We write on behalf of the Montana Democratic Party. We understand you have received a letter sent on behalf of the National Republican Senatorial Committee ("NRSC"), asking you to remove an advertisement sponsored by the Party and entitled "Burns and Abramoff." The complaint is baseless. Each and every statement in the advertisement is carefully documented and supported.
