This tune was written by Charles Fambrough, bassist for the Messengers at the time who dedicated the composition to his son. Another interesting fact about this performance is that it was one of the earliest performances on the international jazz scene featuring the Marsalis brothers. At the time, Wynton was the band's musical director and was just starting to make a name for himself as a bandleader. Pretty interesting to see luminaries like these this early in their careers.
