Catherine Engelbrecht appeared on Fox News to announce a bounty for anyone who produces evidence leading to the conviction of IRS personnel in the faux "scandal."
May 22, 2014

Here we go...Election 2014 Silly Season is officially underway. Today's Serving of Stupid comes to us from True the Vote's Catherine Engelbrecht, with a little side of Glenn Beck tossed in, bought and paid for by Sheldon Adelson's pal Gregg Phillips, who runs the SuperPAC Winning Our Future.

Engelbrecht appeared on Fox "Scandal City" News tonight to announce the reward, after Glenn Beck's The Blaze ran with the story earlier today.

You've got to love their claim to be "crowdsourcing" the financing.

According to a press release from Voter’s Trust, the “IRS Bounty is a crowd funding effort to raise $1 million dollars to finally peel back the layers of secrecy surrounding the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS and the Obama administration.

“The goal of The Voters Trust bounty project is to discover what other information is out there and how high up the ranks the scandal actual goes,” states the press release, first obtained by TheBlaze.

Why of course it's a fundraising gambit. Because that's what these asses do. They create a scandal and then use it to raise money and build mailing lists. No one is going to have any evidence to "crack the case" because there is no case.

But hope springs eternal for Ms. Racist Groundsweller Engelbrecht:

Engelbrecht hopes the bounty will open the eyes of American’s [sic] “ if a conviction occurs I hope this stops and we never have to deal with this again. This is the type of tyranny that kills a Republic and it became a weapon the administration used against its own people.”

Bullshit to that for the reasons I outline here, here, here, here and here.

It's not the IRS they're offering the bounty for. It's your email address and personal information, so they can suck even more money out of the pockets of those who can least afford it, and harass everyone with crazy conspiracy emails and fundraising asks.
