Honestly, what can be said for a people who, for the most part voted in favor of progressive issues but elected candidates that would never allow any of those measures to pass? They are the slaves of the Koch brothers, the John Birch Society magnates who embody the most destructive interests for America's majority.

Slave labor wages, more pollution , more fracking, more restrictions on a woman's right to choose and more private prisons are just some of the horrible causes the Kochs put their billions of dollars behind.

If I were to characterize this election in one word, I'd say America is truly masochistic. But there was really no escaping the negative campaigns waged against President Barack Obama. This was not a referendum against the president. This was a vote for outright racial discrimination.

Voter ID laws and poorer precincts have proven to disproportionately discriminate against minorities, so of course the Kochs were able to minimize democratic voters. They wanted to take their country back from the Black President. It just so happens that of the 10 states where Obama had his lowest levels of white support, eight are in the old Confederacy (the other two are Wyoming and Utah).

We'd better turn out in bigger numbers than ever, if it's even possible, now that this Kochtopus has its tentacles wrapped around Congress. Gerrymandering looks more likely, so this awful election may have even worse consequences on the 2016 Presidential Election. We need to put competent fighting Progressives in charge, like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders and never again fail to get behind our own Democratic Commander in Chief.

In order to add further insult to injury, Senator Harry Reid's Chief of Staff blamed the president for this Red tidal wave. Republicans ALWAYS stand up for each other. Democrats abandon ship faster than the Captain of the Costa Concordia. This has got to change.

There should be no more gracious tolerance of Republican insanity. It's high time we start fighting fire with fire. It's time to fight dirty. It's time to play to win.
