Fox 'News' is having a tough weekend. They have to cover the violence at the Trump rally in Chicago without talking about Trump and his part in it, and also while distracting everyone from the Republican Party's complete meltdown.

First, Fox laid the ground work with two clips showing two, count them, two Bernie Sanders signs at the Trump rally. Two proves an overwhelming Sanders directed conspiracy against law and order for Fox.

Then they brought on "motivational speaker" Larry Winget to lay down some pseudo-psychology about those spoiled brat millennials supporting Bernie Sanders.

WINGET: You know Bernie appeals to a group of people with a high deservability score, and typically those are going to be the low wage earners who believe they deserve to be paid more, even though their value in the marketplace is very low. And then the big group are the millennials.

And they are the people who've been raised in this society, from birth, who gives them a trophy when they didn't win anything, who gives them a passing grade when they fail the test, who puts campuses... campus safe zones up so they can be protected from the hurtful words of others and they are really attracted to somebody who promises them all this free stuff.

Bernie's kind of the grumpy old benevolent grandpa who sides with the kids against the common enemy of the parents and we're sort of the parents. We expect people to be responsible.

h/t Heather for the transcript.

This would be laughable if it wasn't the ratings leader in cable news. But a Republican frontrunner, even a party destroyer like Trump, must be supported by Fox under all circumstances. The general election is going to be a debacle for this network, and they have nothing but their own karma to thank for it.
