Bill O'Reilly is known as a teetotaler. But lots of people thought he was drunk during his live, post-debate show Thursday night. Patton Oswalt called him "TRUMAN CAPOTE TALKSHOW DRUNK." A lot of Twitter followers agreed with him.

In his book, An Atheist in the FOXhole, former O'Reilly producer Joe Muto wrote, "Everyone on the O'Reilly staff was a very accomplished drinker, with one surprising exception: Bill himself. The man is a complete teetotaler." I have also heard O'Reilly say he doesn't drink.

But he definitely seemed lit up and/or tipsy, especially as seen in the interviews with Ted Cruz and John Kasich, below. O'Reilly stumbled over his words and just wasn't himself.

Oswalt also tweeted that O'Reilly "is the wet-brain carnival geek from NIGHTMARE ALLEY."

To be fair, O'Reilly could have been tired or on medication or just nervous. Also, if he never drinks, it seems possible that one or two drinks could have affected him more than someone else. I'm a very moderate drinker and one drink can definitely get me buzzed.

Watch O'Reilly's interviews with Cruz and Kasich from the March 3 O'Reilly Factor special debate show and decide for yourself.
