Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo consistently grumbles about the slow economic growth of the Obama Administration. It seems that Ms. Bartiromo has compartmentalized all the Bush years into a section of her brain that is inaccessible and inconsequential. Without this omission of history, she wouldn't be able to blame everything on the current Democratic POTUS.

She's not alone.

Only about a third of Americans (34%) know that the government’s bailout of banks and financial institutions was enacted under the Bush administration. Nearly half (47%) incorrectly say that the Troubled Asset Relief Program – widely known as TARP – was signed into law by President Obama.

A simple bar graph delineating the number of jobs created under both administrations, invalidates her premise that this is all unique to THIS president.

To lend credence to her false fabrications about the Obama Administration, she carts out the wealthiest car thief and arsonist in Congress, and paragon of virtue, Rep. Darrel Issa (R-CA). This accomplished purveyor of pernicious prevarications (all alliteration aside), blames President Obama for the slow growth during his terms. Rep. Issa also has no recollection of the first eight years of this Millennium. If Hillary Clinton is playing the 'woman card,' these Republicans are playing the 'selective amnesia card.'

Republican Presidential Primary voters, according to Issa, are turning out in sixty percent greater numbers while

the Democratic Party has no particular desire to turn out and vote for Hillary and Bernie Sanders.

His assertion that growth under this president is only fostered by government stimulus is patently false, but that's par for the course on fact-free Fox business Sunday.

Issa and Bartiromo whine about the potentially disastrous, more 'leftist' policy positions of Hillary Clinton. Issa continues to forecast doom and gloom because Democrats don't seem to understand that investors want a return on their investment. He claims that Republicans are trying to create an environment where a long-term return on investment is the centerpiece of their economic platform. This alleged utopia of investment windfall, which Issa believes the Donald Trump campaign espouses, is met with typical Democratic dissent. Notice the racist dog whistles he always includes in his portrayal of the Left. This time, Issa delivers his thoughts using sentence fragments, reminiscent of Palin's word salad ramblings.

ISSA: That environment (one which fosters strong returns on investment in the long term) is the environment that Republicans are proposing, and it's one in which thugs are showing up and throwing eggs at police, and stand their taking showers of rotten eggs, because that's the way it's going to be until after the American people speak and make the clear decision that they don't want the direction of President Obama and obviously Hillary Clinton is very much pushing to the left of President Obama.

BARTIROMO: And so, can Hillary Clinton be successful running on the idea that she's going to just build on what President Obama has already done? There's that question; she's running on an economy that has really just buckled at the bottom. One and a half percent growth is not good almost ten years after the financial (crisis).

One and a half percent growth is far worse, according to these habitual conservative liars, than a financial crisis spurned by a careless GOP administration who oversaw some of the most disastrous domestic, foreign and economic policies in our nation's history.
