Fox & Friends spent part of the July 4th weekend showcasing a former Navy SEAL who doesn’t just blame Hillary Clinton for his friends’ deaths in Benghazi but has now come out with a line of merchandise saying, “Hillary Killed My Friends.”

Peter Doocy introduced former navy SEAL Tej Gill by saying, “A former NAVY Seal taking aim at Hillary Clinton with a controversial t-shirt reading ‘Hillary Clinton Killed My Friends’ and it’s getting a lot of attention.”

Doocy continued by setting up Gill to attack Clinton and promote his merchandise: “Very controversial. You’ve got bumper stickers and t-shirts that you say are very popular in the SEAL community that say, ‘Hillary killed my friends.’ What do you mean by that?”

Gill said a friend created the bumper stickers which have “gone viral.” He claimed, “We’ve had nothing but positive feedback inside and outside of the SEAL community.”

Doocy feigned pushing back – but really set up more Clinton attacking – by asking why Gill blames Hillary Clinton and not the terrorists for the deaths of his friends.

Gill took the bait. He said he does blame the terrorists and blames Clinton because, “She was the secretary of state. The consulate ultimately was her responsibility. The security at the consulate was poor at best. The terrorists literally pushed the gate in, open, and walked in. The security that was there was local security. They weren’t trained. They weren’t vetted. They didn’t have American supervisors. They just threw down their guns and walked away when the attack started. So my friends down the street at the CIA annex, they had to rescue the State Department folks and they lost their lives that night when they were in the fight of their life.”

Of course, Doocy did not challenge or question a single assertion. Instead, he asked, “Are the SEALS you are still in contact with comfortable serving under a potential Commander-in-Chief Clinton?”

“I don’t think they have a choice if she gets elected,” Gill answered. “They don’t want to do it but they will. That’s their job.”

While I have the utmost respect for those who serve our country and were involved in Benghazi, I doubt that if anyone was selling similar merchandise about George W. Bush and the Iraq war, that person would probably never get Fox airtime to promote his or her wares.
