As MSNBC's Morning Joe crew mocked Trump over a tweet where he put quotation marks around the letter "I," Mika Brzezinski imitated a clapping seal to show his joy at Fox and Friends.

At 6:38 am EST, Trump tweeted this.

The Morning Joe crew pulled up that tweet, which is moronic to say the least and Mika read it aloud.

Mika, "President Trump is up early watching TV making sure his TV network follows orders and he tweeted this morning also. He says this, 'remember Republicans are 5-0 in congressional race this is year. The media refuses to mention this. I said Gillespie and Moore would lose for very different reasons, and they did. "I" also predicted I would win. Republicans will do well in 2018, very well."

After she read it off, the panel burst into laughter.

Quotes around the "I".

Mika said, "He tags the tweet @foxandfriends."

She continued, "Your network is doing good this morning. Are they making you happy?"

And she began clapping like a seal.

John Heilemann was so flabbergasted about the quotation thing he said, "...don't know what to make of that. It's the most meta thing he's ever done."

Mika's clapping could be interpreted as Trump being happy, like a toddler at what he heard on TV, or it could be the trio of co-hosts at Fox and Friends performing like trained animals to make their master happy.

You decide.

Ed. Note: Trump's tweet was incorrect, too. Democrat Jimmy Gomez won a special election here in California and was sworn in over the summer. - Karoli
