Adam Schiff goes there.

It's not just about White House and other pro-Trump witnesses ignoring subpoenas issued by the House of Representatives.

It's Republicans in the House who ignore and enable that actual lawlessness who deserve scorn.

Schiff was specifically responding to the no-show of Charlie Kupperman, as noted by Politico and quoted by Tengrain:

Today… Charlie Kupperman, the former deputy national security adviser, is under subpoena for a deposition later today. But Kupperman, who was John Bolton’s top aide at the NSC, filed suit late Friday night asking a judge whether he is required to comply with the subpoena amid the White House’s attempts to block him from testifying — so don’t expect him to show up this morning. Kupperman wants the D.C. district court to resolve the conflict between the House and the president, arguing that he is not equipped to adjudicate the dispute himself.

ADAM SCHIFF: I can understand why the President doesn’t want these witnesses to come forward, what I find harder to understand is why the Republican Members of this body in this House don’t want these witnesses to come forward... Where is their respect for the rule of law?

I think we all know the answer to THAT question, Congressman.
