The team that came out as big losers on Election Day lectured President Biden and Democrats to be more introspective and humble about the results.
November 11, 2022

The discussion began with compulsive liar and Fox cohost Kayleigh McEnany saying she understands the Democrats’ optimism “but there should also be some introspection here. Doesn’t appear that’s the case.”

If anyone should be engaged in introspection, it’s the MAGA Foxies who could barely contain their malicious delight as they anticipated an Election Day wipe out for Democrats.

Guest cohost Sean Duffy agreed Democrats have “cause for celebration,” given that they did so much better than expected. “I don’t think we quite know why they did so well,” he said, because “the issues that Americans are feeling right now doesn’t [sic] tend to benefit Democrats.” So, Duffy has no idea why his own party underperformed so badly but it’s Democrats who should be introspective.

Ditto for humility. According to Duffy, it’s Biden who should be talking about changing course.

DUFFY: I look at humility, Kayleigh. You have a 40% approval rating, people can’t afford gas, groceries, they can’t afford heat and oil coming up, the border’s open, crime is rampant. And you should look at that, say, “You know what? Um, I care about America, I care about my people and I’m gonna change course to make sure I fix these problems that I face. But this guy goes, “I did well Tuesday night. I’m not changing a darn thing!” Not only that, I’m gonna give more of it!”

Cohost Emily Compagno also lectured Democrats for not taking “the opportunity for introspection and why was it so close.” She claimed that when 60% of voters in exit polls said inflation and the economy was a primary factor, “it really begs the question, will the Democratic Party in any way start listening, starting with the president, start listening to the voters?”

I guarantee you Fox would be celebrating without even a smidgen of "introspection" or "humility" had the so-called red wave come as they themselves predicted.
