Former President Donald Trump decided that just days before the midterms, instead of being a unifying figure, he would assign his potential 2024 rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a nickname. Conservatives rushed in mostly to defend who Trump referred to as Ron Desanctimonious, so the fallout is pretty significant. Unless you're a Fox & Friends host, that is.

Rachel Campos-Duffy spoke about Barack Obama, John Fetterman, Joe Biden, and Billy Bob's cousin's girlfriend down the street just about anything and everyone except for Donald Trump's slight on a popular Republican.

And, of course, Rachel said that "things have gotten so bad" after Donald Trump "turned around the Obama economy."

These people are delusional. For the record, Obama gifted Lumpy with a healthy economy. Trump left the White House in disgrace with the worst jobs numbers since Herbert Hoover. I just wanted to clarify since we have found ourselves in Upside Down World.

The Fox & Friends panel gave a shoutout to Dr. Oz, who will vote to "end Joe Biden's socialist spending spree, and he'll fight runaway inflation, and he's a strong man."

Sure thing, lady.

Will Cain chimed in to say, "And former president Trump is teasing a 2024 presidential run while taking a swipe at Florida governor Ron DeSantis."

"Ron De-sanctimonious, the nickname raised eyebrows across social media, but it didn't stop the patriotic rally crowd from breaking into a spontaneous rendition of the National Anthem," he added.

Warning: For this next part, get a bucket ready. You're going to want to throw up. You're welcome!

"Do you know why they sing and spontaneously erupt into song?" Rachel asked. "Whenever he brings up the people who are in the gulags in... for January 6, whenever he brings that up, they sing the National Anthem because those guys --"

She further explained that the January 6 defendants sing the National Anthem at 9:00 p.m. every night.

And no one gives a f*ck. The rioters didn't act patriotically when they kicked the shit out of over 140 police officers on January 6.

Cain explained that Trump is set to make an announcement in a week.

Pete Hegseth said that Trump is "going to Florida today for a rally in Ron DeSantis' backyard. All the Republicans are going to the Trump event. I mean, he's... I'm saying what everybody knows."

"He's hoping to block out DeSantis from making a primary challenge on the Republican side, and he's got numbers to back him up," he continued. "And he may have a ton of wins on election day to be able to say this red tsunami represents my policies. We'll see. It's going to be..."

Rachel said, "I think a lot of people are wondering if he should have waited until after the election to flex."

"A lot of people told Donald Trump to do a lot of things for a lot of years without a lot of success," Hegseth.

Yeah, like on January 6, for example, when the former President failed to secure our Capitol, and instead, he sat on his ass for three hours eating buckets of KFC with the television turned on. That's the man Fox & Friends is protecting, and he just took a shot at the only other popular 2024 hopeful.
