Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has upset Tom Petty's estate after using the late rocker's song, "I Won't Back Down." And yes, she will back down. The Trump-endorsed candidate lost. What is she going to do -- storm the Capitol?

Here is the clip that pissed off Tom Petty's estate:

The reaction was quick and brutal.

"The Tom Petty estate and our partners were shocked to find out that Tom's song 'I Won't Back Down' was stolen and used without permission or a license to promote Kari Lake's failed campaign," the estate wrote. "This is illegal. We are exploring all of our legal options to stop this unauthorized use and to prohibit future misappropriations of Tom's beloved anthem."

Notice that they used the word "stolen." That's what she did. That music does not belong to her, and she's trying to elevate herself by using someone else's hard work. That's the Republican way. And, jinkies, why didn't she use some of the amazing talents on the right, like Ted Nugent or Kid Rock?

And, wow, she has those filters working overtime while she's looking like a hunchback as she's working that shooting range.

Is Lumpy going to ask the music thief to run as his pick for vice president?

It does seem like something he would do.
