Controversial far-right Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) are having quite a slap fight that started over the possibility of voting for GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to be House Speaker or not. These boneheads can't even agree on who should get the Speakership, so they're never going to be able to work with Democrats to get anything done.
Boebert took a jab at Marge on the Charlie Kirk Show for throwing her endorsement behind McCarthy. Marge is supporting McCarthy because he promised to restore her House committee assignments. And the messed up thing is that her committee assignments were taken away from her because she endorsed violence against Democrats.
Feelings. Whoa, whoa whoa feelings:
"I've aligned with Marjorie and been accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in," Boebert insisted. "I don't believe in [McCarthy being voted in as Speaker], just as I don't believe in Russian space lasers, Jewish space lasers, all of it, no."
Marge got mad and took to Twitter to blast Boebert.
"I've supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes," Greene tweeted. "She gladly takes our $$ but when she's been asked: Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite ... Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I'm 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites."
Now that we're talking about Boebert and Marge, this is an excellent time to bring up the fact that a Supreme Court Justice's wife sought to overturn the 2020 election, and no one seems to give a fuck.
