On Sunday, Bolsonaro supporters stormed the country's congressional building, the Supreme Court, and the Planalto Presidential Palace, in a move similar to the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. Pro-Trump allies, and even Ivanka has ties to the Balsanaro family.

And this looks just like the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

They were guests of Ivanka's just before the insurrectionists invaded:

Stop the Steal. Ali Alexander's icky fingerprints are all over this. He called it an "impromptu Capitol tour," after suggesting he knew of a "freedom cell" in Brazil.

Eduardo Bolsonaro is former President Jair Balsonaro's son, and he looks pretty comfortable with Trump and people in the one-term President's orbit.

Imagine this:

Jair Bolsonaro was safely tucked away in Florida when the attack was launched. The former President is trying to avoid various investigations from his time in office. Like Trump, Bolsonaro claimed that the election was stolen but did not provide proof of his wild-eyed claims.

Bolsonaro reportedly called on his supporters to avoid violence and suggested they move on. "We live in a democracy, or we don't," he said in a recorded statement. "No one wants an adventure."

Of course, by then, the damage was done. He had convinced his supporters that their votes didn't matter. The election was stolen, he said. And here we are. This seems like it was a well-thought-out, calculated attack.

Also, we should not be providing Bolsonaro safe harbor.
