On Fox News Outnumbered, Princeton University lecturer Lauren Wright fact checked New York's crime rate against Florida's and delivered some "inconvenient truths" to the Fox News hosts.

Kicking off the topic, New York City Mayor Eric Adams trolled Ron DeSantis so Fox News had to immediate run and defend the Ronny from all criticisms.

Emily Campagno and Harris Faulkner lit into Mayor Adams, lying that New York City's crime rate is astronomical as they watch people being beaten for their lives in the subways.

In other words, same sh*t, different day.

Enter Lauren Wright.

"Here are some inconvenient truths," Wright said. "Orlando has a very high crime rate too, its 50 percent higher than New York right now."

Ouch!

"Miami, very comparable, with a Republican mayor. So these things are not that simple," she said.

"I get the strategy. The strategy is support police, come here, come to Florida, we’ll support you, and that’s a slam-dunk politically," she said. echoing the hosts.

"But once you get into the facts, there are problems on both sides."

Co-host Harris Faulkner tried to muddy her analysis by intimating New York crimes are maybe somehow worse than Florida's.

Wright fought back and said the murder rate is down 11% since Adams took office.

Facts are inconvenient truths to Fox News.

Miami has a higher crime rate than NYC.

The crime rate in Miami is significantly higher than in New York City. According to an index created by BestPlace, New York scored 28.2 out of 100 for violent crime and 24.9 for property crime.
