Florida Senator Marco Rubio dug himself into a ditch and then buried himself after he whined on social media about Florida having a gas shortage.

Weather related delays, floods and panic buying has indeed led to gas shortages in Florida.

ABC7 News is reporting, "Over 55% of gas stations in Miami/Fort Lauderdale and over 34% of gas stations in West Palm Beach were without fuel as of Thursday morning, according to GasBuddy, a gas-tracking database."

On Wednesday Sen. Rubio posted this shocking video.

"What’s happening right now in Miami and in Fort Lauderdale with gasoline is crazy. You can’t find gasoline anywhere," Rubio said. "This has been going on since Sunday and they’re blaming it on the floods that impacted the port. And I know that was a factor, but it’s been four days. They should have been figured out by now,” he whined.

Molly Jong-Fast said it best on Twitter: "Maybe he could call his United States senator?"

Dear Marco Rubio, you're a f**king Senator in the state of Florida. If anybody can get information and answers about the gas shortage in your home state it's you.

Who are your constituents supposed to turn to? It appears the entire state legislature that's run by Republicans are too busy getting books banned, attacking the trans community, and attacking school teachers to notice or care about a thing called "gas."

Also, Where's Ron DeSantis in all of this? Oh, he's still fighting windmills with schools and threatening Disney with prisons while traveling out of state to care either.
