When asked by Fox News if he was denigrating Trump by entering the presidential race, South Carolina Senator (yeah, smh) Tim Scott responded by using a term made famous by dictators like Stalin and Mao to describe... the Biden administration?

This is what passes for political discourse on the Right. Garbage.

Brian Kilmeade subbed for the newly-fired Tucker Carlson and brought up Scott's presidential ambitions by using the "some people say" routine.

"Some people say that you are taking a shot at your friend who's leading, and that is President Trump. You guys have always been tight," Kilmeade said.

"You don't think he could be successful, and that's why you're at the point you're at," Kilmeade said.

Scott ignored the Trump question and instead used a Trump attack line that has become a common Bircher assault on the Democratic party.

"Well, Brian, without any question, I believe that getting in this race is indicative of the fact that our campaign will win and beat President Biden," Scott replied. "The enemy for the American people is the Left."

In Sen. Scott's mind, the only way he can be taken as a serious candidate by the right is not to discuss a vision for the future, or his policies, but by being a bomb thrower of juvenile rank-outs and descriptions that would make Chairman Mao proud.

PS Hey, South Carolina, why do you only elect Republican "confirmed bachelors" to the Senate?
