Florida Republicans have passed bills to prevent students and teachers from using pronouns that don't correspond to their biological sex, as well as college diversity programs.
The AP reports, "The two proposals were given final passage by the Republican super-majorities in the House and Senate. DeSantis is expected to sign the bills into law."
The anti-pronoun bill is a direct assault on GenZ and GenAlpha. Their generations are making changes in gender identification.
Republicans say they are just protecting the kids, but that's a BIG LIE.
Ron DeSantis and the Florida legislature are using children and colleges as a testing ground to see how far they can push their Christian nationalistic culture war agenda.
And it's sick.
"The House also approved a proposal to ban people from entering bathrooms that do not correspond to their biological sex, a bill aimed at transgender bathroom use."
Of course, they did.
I'm waiting for Florida Republicans to ban all gender-neutral nicknames associated with your kids. So if you name your child Samantha, it will be against the law to call her Sam. And no one will ever be named Chris again. Right, Santa?
