Most of us witnessed former President Donald Trump openly criming around, but Republicans were OK with that. And after news of his latest indictment broke, they circled the wagons to defend the twice-impeached, one-term, indicted former President who was recently found liable for sexual abuse.

Magadonia is big mad. It's amusing to watch them defend their hero when they don't even know the charges.

President Joe Biden has distanced himself from Donald Trump's numerous legal issues. As Yale Law graduate Sen. Josh Hawley knows, a grand jury decided that Trump's crimes warranted an indictment, not the President. Also, poor Josh must have been in a coma for years. I recall the "lock her up" chants at every Trump rally.

Rep. Matt Gaetz is feigning naivete. Trump is running to stay out of prison.

Rep. Lauren Boebert says the "walls are closing in on Biden" in reaction to the walls closing in on her Trumpy bear.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is pretending that Biden indicted Trump. "It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him," the embattled California Republican tweeted.

And there is this bonehead who claims that "Democrats are arresting their enemies." She is a font of disinformation.

Ted Cruz thinks holding someone accountable for their crimes will do "enormous damage."

Again, these people don't even know the charges. Trump could eat a baby live on TV, and they would defend that. "Well, he has to eat," they'd say. And Florida Republicans are standing by their guy, too, including Gov. Ron DeSantis.
