Former vice president Mike Pence doesn't have a shot of winning the GOP nomination, much less the keys to the White House. But if he did, then promptly handed the wealthy another tax break, we'd all be chanting, "Hang Mike Pence!"

Inflation is cooling, and President Joe Biden's job numbers are awe-inspiring. And he's not done fighting for our economy's well-being. Last month, Biden delivered a message during the first rally of his reelection campaign, "telling an exuberant crowd of union members that his policies had created jobs and lifted the middle class. Now, he said, is the time for the wealthy to "pay their fair share" in taxes," NPR reported.

Former President, with Pence at his side, left office with the worst job numbers since Herbert Hoover. And Pence would like to bring us back to that point.

"I'm somebody that, I don't really buy into the rich need to pay their fair share," he told a room full of supporters. "I mean, when you look at, when you look at the statistics of where we actually get funding for the government, the top 10% of earners in this country, I think..."

I don't know what that next sentence was. But if he said the trickle-down effect works, even Jesus would slap the shit out of him. Now sit in the corner, and think about that bad thing you just said, Mike. What an absolute walnut with the personality of a tater tot.
