Stephen Colbert took a shot at Lauren Boebert and her groping incident during the Beetlejuice musical during his opening segment this Monday after a long hiatus due to the writers' strike. It's been a while since he was on the air, so Colbert had a bit of catching up to do.

COLBERT: That same day we learned that Lauren Boebert got kicked out of a touring production of Beetlejuice after officials reported that she was “causing a disturbance,” which turns out was code for yanking her date's crank at the family friendly show.

According to witnesses, she was apparently trying to start him like a lawnmower.

Which Colbert proceeded to demonstrate to his audience. He's back baby! And thank God because I've really been missing having the late night comedians around to help me retain what's left of my sanity.
