Florida House Republican Maria Elvira Salazar has used a broad paintbrush to blame "Democratic socialists" for anti-semitic hate crimes before, so this is just more of the same. It's who she is. Socialists weren't the ones protesting in Donald Trump's name while shouting, "Jews will not replace us." That was only six years ago, by the way.

Videos circulated on social media of Russians literally hunting down Jews right now in a jaw-dropping display. Guys, I don't think Putin really had intentions of de-nazifying Ukraine. I believe Ukraine's Jewish leader isn't buying it, either—just a hunch.

"And I always go back to the fact that, unfortunately, in this country, the socialist forces have penetrated the Democratic Party," she insisted on Fox Business Network. "There are many noble people within the Democratic Party that I serve with in Congress. But, there's 50% of that conference, Democratic Conference, that has been penetrated by what you call, what they call, democratic socialism."

"There is nothing Democratic about socialism," she said, apparently unaware of what Democratic socialism is in the U.S. "Socialism is Marxism, is the neo-Marxist, that is what I call them. That is what infiltrates the people that are around President Biden."

"And those are the ones that are not sending a clear signal that we stand next to a guy, meaning Israel, the only democratically-elected government in the region, surrounded by pretty bad enemies, and someone that did not attack anyone but was attacked," she added. "So, you see, the values are reversed because if you are a socialist, you are anti-semitic."

Oh, we have some antisemitic weirdos on the left, but it's been a consistent problem on the right, and it came with violence on numerous occasions.

I launched a site to counter the tea party back in the day. They would call Democrats any sort of "ism," and it was effective. Obama is a socialist because he wanted us to have affordable health care—that sort of thing. Sarah Palin hinted that Obama is a Socialist. It worked. The bullshit she was selling to the Rubes was instantly bought hook, line, and sinker. She did things similar to how Trump does them. She was selling worthless shit to stupid people.
