Roger Horton takes an honest look at the insipid holiday movies. The only thing more pervasive than these movies are the endless Xmas muzak that is pumped through the radio and out of every store speaker in America. It is literally inescapable. But remember, there's a War on Christmas going on, you know. And frankly, I think the holiday is kicking our butt. So put another healthy splash of brandy in your egg nog, or if you prefer, a dash of egg nog in your brandy, and let's see what on TV.
