On Christmas Eve Day, Ron Johnson joined his old pal, Maria Bartiromo to complain about all those Spanish-speaking, brown-skinned people crossing the southern border. While spewing his tirade, he quotes yet even bigger numbers than ever before. By RoJo's calculations, I think the equivalent of all of China just has entered the US already.
He also complains that no one knows where the immigrants are, then complains that they are overwhelming American cities.

Then he played a little ditty on his dog whistle about how the immigrants are overwhelming a small town in Wisconsin that suddenly has 400 students that speak only Spanish but no teachers that speak Spanish;. (Funny, you think a thing like that would have made the news. Well, it it was true, it might have.) Lastly, he said that the police can't help because they also aren't ready to serve the public.

But RoJo's well-known racism isn't even the worst part, unfortunately.

The real spit take comes from what RoJo said just three days earlier, when he was bragging about leading an effort to delay a deal on the border until January 8th:

That's why I've been leading this process to slow things down. I got 14 of my colleagues to sign this letter to leadership, to Republican leadership to hold a conference meeting when we return on January 8th. That was really designed to make sure that they wouldn't jam us this week to take a vote on a bill that nobody's seen, nobody's - you know there's only been a couple of people negotiating this thing. So I think we were largely successful. We recessed the senate, did not take a vote on the supplemental or any kind of border security measures. You're exactly right. The problem we have is we're negotiating with the administration and Democrats in the senate who want an open border.

No, the problem we have is RoJo and other Republicans who do not want to resolve the border issue because it's the only thing they have for the 2024 elections. And even then, it's not enough to overcome their problems with the abortion issue or any of the other issues that keep falling flat at their feet.
