There is no Republican party anymore. It's the Trump party, and they are openly pro-Putin. Politico's headline today reads, "Bloodbath at RNC: Trump team slashes staff at committee." We always knew that Trump would destroy his own party, but Republicans are willing participants in their bloodbath. Somehow, I'm OK with that.
Junior had Tulsi Gabbard on his MAGA podcast and couldn't believe that she is described as a "Russia lover." Republicans have become the least self-aware people in the world.
"So. you're a lieutenant colonel in the US Army Reserves," Traitor Tot told Tulsi. "And yet I see TV pundits who've never served, who probably hate America, attack you as some sort of Russia lover.
Quick note: None of the Trumps have ever served in the military.
"Where, what does that come from?" he asked. "What do you make of those attacks? I, I think you're probably pretty familiar with those attacks yourself."
I cannot imagine why anyone would label Tulsi, who has propped up Putin's belief that Ukraine's alignment with the West threatens Russia's security. At the same time, she endorses Putin-friendly Republicans who don't care about the death and destruction the Russian dictator is responsible for.
"I think you're familiar with those attacks as well," Gabbard said to Junior.
"I'm a Russia lover because I don't feel we should spend a trillion dollars in a war in Ukraine that we haven't articulated what victory looks like," Don Jr. said. "That's just me because apparently I'm stupid."
Fact check: Yes, he's stupid.
"But, yeah," It continued. "No, I, I, I'm a Putin apologist and a Russia lover. Basically. I work for them, according to the mainstream press and, and this is, this is the same tired line they throw out."
"In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," Trump Jr. said during a 2008 conference in New York.

"We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia," he added.
