Hannity Says He's Advising Trump (He's Really Bad At It)

Sean Hannity, the Fox News personality, is advising former President Donald Trump. I wonder how conservatives would feel if Rachel Maddow was advising President Biden. Well, at least she would be better at it than Hannity, who, while talking about Biden, sounds like he's talking about Trump. I think Biden's State of the Union address put any questions regarding the President's mental acuity to rest. Meanwhile, Trump doesn't even know if he's running against Biden or Obama.

Check out the gaslighting.

"If I'm Donald Trump right now, I'm seeing a Joe Biden that is very weak, frail, a cognitive mess, that has a very, very, very hard job," Hannity insisted. "He now is -- everything he's now doing is to shore up his base. Trump's base is rock solid. You might have never Trumpers. In the end, I would argue, probably a lot of those people are going to go home because they know that our nation is in decline under Biden's policies."

Note: Unemployment is at a record low. Biden's $1.7 billion package to fund initiatives to end hunger across the United States by 2030 doesn't sound like something a feeble old man could do. Or cutting late credit card fees or keeping Social Security and Medicare cuts off the table while Republicans are seeking to end the programs. Black unemployment rate is lower under Biden than any other administration. None of this sounds like it was launched by a "cognitive mess." And all of that, and much more, was done without any help from Republicans.

Back to the gaslighting.

"But if I was Trump -- and I've had discussions with him about it, you know -- I'd go after Joe Biden's base," It continued. "The base of the Democratic Party is a coalition party demographically. You see these massive numbers in polls, Hispanic Americans, African Americans, young people, suburban women."

"I would also unite the Republican Party around principles, ideas, and policy objectives," he continued. I would remind people about what matters, and that's keeping our city safer, better schools, secure borders, lower taxes, less regulation, stop shoving electric vehicles down our throats, and assure the American people that once again, America will retake our mantle as the leader in the free world."

"That's what I would tell him to do," he added. "And can he do that in 5 minutes? Yeah. But, I mean, I don't think anybody wants to go to a rally that only lasts five minutes, so he's got to fill some airtime."

You can see a list here of what Biden accomplished during all 4 years in office so far. It's lengthy, and it includes this from his first year in office:

Historic stimulus bill passed:

Increases poorest 20% of Americans' income by 20% permanently
85% of households receiving stimulus payments
Four provisions which lower Americans’ 2021 tax bills by an average of $3,360
Reduces backlog of Veterans compensation and pension claims by more than half
Created 8 million jobs
200,000,000 Americans vaccinated
Unemployment claims at the lowest levels since 1969

Hannity didn't explain how Trump should "go after Joe Biden's base." We don't want Lumpy, thankyouverymuch.

Sorry, Hannity, but the world stopped laughing at us after Trump left office in disgrace. The folks in the U.K. don't respect the twice-impeached orange aberration:
