Sure, what average American doesn’t see a billionaire hawking a holy book for $60, for the privilege of seeing his name on it, and think, “that guy’s just like me!”

Don’t tell me Fox’s Tammy Bruce doesn’t know that supposedly mega-wealthy Donald Trump peddling $60 Bibles is the epitome of a scam. That’s almost certainly why she tried to paint the lying, grifting 88-felony-charges and pu**y-grabbing billionaire as the salt of the earth.

“President Trump selling a Bible is kind of a regular guy thing to be doing,” Bruce said, with a straight face. “It's not ‘Oh, it's not presidential,’ right? You've got the sons or the brothers to do the selling of things.” She meant it as a dig at President Biden who, unlike Trump, actually attends church. But nothing in Biden’s family matches the Trump family grift.

“This is what Trump does,” Bruce continued, inadvertently telling the truth for the first and last time in this clip. “It takes him into people's kitchens, into their living rooms, while the left is sitting up on the highest mountain in the world, looking down on all of the hoi polloi. And there is Donald Trump once again reaching in and being himself and being able to relate to I think, to the average person.”

Chasten Buttigieg got it right. “If Joe Biden sold licensing rights to his name in order to make money off the Bible, Fox News would implode,” he posted on Threads.

I guarantee you, Tammy Bruce would be a loud voice in that chorus of attacks.
