I'm old enough to remember when a Republican President cut off American arms being sent to Israel. Rep. Steven Scalise now thinks that's worthy of impeachment when a Democrat is in the White House. The Louisiana Republican sounded so ridiculous that Fox host Stuart Varney looked puzzled.

"On what grounds would you impeach President Biden?" Varney asked.

"Well, if you look at where we are, Stuart, I mean, President Biden is failing on so many different fronts," Scalise falsely said. "But if you look at Israel, you've showed those quotes and tweets, what he said when he was a candidate."

"And he sure was bold then, but he'd probably like to eat some of those words today," he continued. "Because what he's done to Israel, walking away from our strongest ally in the Middle East, is disgraceful. You've got Democrats even admitting that right now."

"Our main objective is to get Israel the support they need to show that we stand with our ally Israel, even if Joe Biden's walking away because he is now trying to appease the pro-Hamas wing of his party," Scalise said.

"Is it a high crime and misdemeanor to walk away from a big ally?" Varney asked.

"Well, what we want to do is get President Biden to actually go and deliver that aid," Scalise added. "I mean, ultimately, Congress will."

Scalise is an idiot. President Biden said the U.S. would continue to provide defensive weapons to Israel, including for its Iron Dome air defense system. Still, he added that other shipments would end because they were being used to kill civilians in Gaza. Biden has said that an invasion of Rafah would be crossing the line. That was a warning to BiBi.
