Tuli Kupferberg, founder of folk-rock satirists The Fugs, died yesterday at the age of 86. It is said that Kupferberg makes an appearance in Ginsberg's Howl as the person who ""who jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge this actually happened and walked away unknown and forgotten into the ghostly daze of Chinatown". Kupferberg was also the author of the books 1001 Ways to Beat the Draft, 1001 Ways to Live Without Working, and Teach Yourself Fucking. R.I.P.
